Comparison uses published UK pricing as of May 2026. Stripe processing shown at the headline UK rate of 1.5% + 20p per transaction. Big-name platforms bundle processing into a single higher fee; we pass Stripe through at cost so you only pay what Stripe charges — nothing on top.

FAQ

Everything you were going to ask.

Most organisers come to us with the same handful of questions. Here are the honest answers — no jargon, no asterisks.

Running a ticketing platform isn’t as expensive as the big players make it out to be. We cover our costs through small, tasteful, non-intrusive advertising — for example, a discreet sponsor logo on the printable ticket. Nothing flashy, nothing that interrupts your buyer’s experience, and nothing on your event page.

Absolutely. Free events have always been free — there’s no per-ticket fee, no volume cap, and no upgrade prompt. The platform works identically whether you’re giving tickets away or charging £500 each.

No. We never touch your funds. Payments are processed directly by Stripe — one of the world’s largest payment providers — straight into your own connected Stripe account. We have no access to your income; only you do.

You don’t wait until after the event. Stripe pays out your earnings daily — each transaction is released to your bank account three working days after it’s made. Cash flow runs in real time with your ticket sales.

Stripe charges their standard headline rate of 1.5% + 20p per transaction for European cards in the UK — paid directly to Stripe, not to us. We don’t mark it up. The fee shown on your dashboard is exactly what Stripe takes.

No catch, no contract, no minimum volume. You can run one event a year or one a week; you can sell ten tickets or ten thousand; you can stop using Ticketable tomorrow. The advertising on tickets is the only thing subsidising the platform, and that’s it.
